Visit the official Great Iowa Treasure Hunt website. Enter your last name or business name to begin your search. Including a first name or city can help refine the results.

Step 2: Submit a Claim

If you identify property belonging to you, follow the on-screen instructions to initiate a claim. You will need to register for an account to proceed.

Step 3: Provide Required Documentation

  • Clear copies of current state or federal-issued photo identification
  • Documentation proving ownership of the property (bank statements, utility bills, etc.)

Step 4: Track Your Claim
